When tough-acting loner Maleek is paired with over-friendly divorcee Wendy, their partnership looks dead on arrival. But before long they’re acting as each other’s life support.

An ensemble comedy, set within the fast-paced, never-ending rush of 999 call outs, Bloods also stars Adrian Scarborough, Lucy Punch and Julian Barratt.

Series two welcomes a new source of conflict for Wendy and Maleek this time around in the form of Wendy’s deeply irritating son, Spencer (Nathan Foad). Also joining the cast is Katherine Kelly (Innocent, Liar) as the ambulance station’s acting counsellor and listening ear.

In a special cameo guest appearance, former Doctor Who actor Peter Davison (Dr Who) is set to return to our screens in the newest instalment of Bloods. Donning the ‘doctor’ title once more, Davison makes a cameo appearance as a retired surgeon who comes to the aid of Bloods’ dysfunctional duo of paramedics; tough-acting Maleek (Kayo) and over-friendly divorcee Wendy (Horrocks).

In the latest instalment of episodes, we see Wendy and Maleek’s friendship blown apart when she accuses him of drinking on the job,  Jo and Lawrence finally confront their complicated ‘situation’, (with hilarious results), and Gary and Kareshma go on quite the emotional rollercoaster.
