Welcome to KURUPT FM, ‘the second most popular pirate radio station in West London’. Led by the delusional MC Grindah and his equally hapless sidekick DJ Beats, Kurupt FM are on a mission to go global. Together with the drug-impaired Steves and the technical support of dodgy self-proclaimed ‘entrepreneur’ Chabuddy G, they seek to make their dream of worldwide fame a reality.

SYNOPSIS
SERIES FIVE
Following the station being raided and Steves’ arrest, Kurupt FM face even more set-backs when they find out the Brentford blocks are being knocked down and turned into luxury flats. With their future in Brentford uncertain, marital bliss doesn’t last long for Miche and Grindah as a secret grows between them. Beats gets caught in the middle and Chabuddy gets more than he bargained for in his new relationship. Meanwhile the boys try new tactics to stay relevant as the stakes have never been higher for them to make it big, but will Kurupt FM survive the gentrification of Brentford?

Uncertain times lie ahead at Kurupt FM when commander and chief – Grindah, hits rock bottom after his break up with Miche and the boys start going down different paths. Following the birth of his and Roche’s baby, Beats tries to juggle being a stay at home Dad with his radio commitments. Steves is getting through the loss of his Nan by spending time with baby Robyn, while Chabuddy struggles with bankruptcy and has to look for work to make ends meet. With the prospect of war with a rival pirate station on the horizon, can they all pull together to save Kurupt FM?

Grindah sees musical success as a potential escape from his impending wedding, which Miche continues to plan tirelessly. As the plans become more intense, so does the strain on their relationship.
