ROUGHCUT TV SCORES 7 BAFTA NOMINATIONS FOR THREE SHOWS
BLOODS, STATH LETS FLATS & JERK

Roughcut have scored seven nominations across three of our shows in the 2022 Bafta Television nominations.

Samson Kayo’s Bafta nomination comes hot on the heels of his RTS win for Best Comedy Performance (Male) earlier this year.


The creative team at Roughcut headed by Ash Atalla, Alex Smith (Head of Scripted) and Marianna Abbotts, (Executive Producer and Head of Drama Development) further consolidated their move into drama production with the announcement yesterday (Tuesday 29th March) that it had secured the rights to Nina Millns’ forthcoming novel. This comes on the back of landing the rights to adapt Sarah Vaughan’s Little Disasters in 2021.

 

Roughcut recently appointed Sophia Rashid as Drama Development Producer as well as two new Comedy-Drama Development Producers, Inez Gordon and Ben Worsfield to work across the company’s expanding production slate.
